Growing faith is the Church of England’s vision for creating spaces where children, young people and families can encounter God in their everyday lives – through the interconnection of schools, churches and households.
Growing Faith is rooted in the Church of England’s vision to create meaningful opportunities for children, young people and families to experience and deepen their relationship with God. This vision centres on three key ‘intersecting spheres’ of life – church, school and household – each playing a critical role in nurturing faith. Below are the key goals:
The Growing Faith Foundation seeks to benefit children and young people, helping them create the world they want to live in, specifically through the lens of the Christian faith. Every Diocese has appointed one or more Growing Faith Champions to take forward the Growing Faith mission locally.
The Growing Faith initiative emphasises equipping churches and schools with the tools, training and resources they need to integrate faith into the lives of children, young people and their families.
