Capital works - Aided Schools

Providing the Diocese with notice of proposed works

Schools are required to provide the Diocese with notice of proposed works that will take place within the scope of the buildings and land.

This means works being carried out to internal and external walls, roofs, windows, doors, mains electrics, plumbing and drainage. Works affecting land including playgrounds and playing fields must also be notified.

Please provide details by completing and returning the Capital Project Information Form below.

Bids for the next round of funding will open towards the end of the calendar year. Details will be shared nearer the time.

Governing Body contribution to Capital Works

In return for more autonomy for the Church, Aided school governors have to contribute 10% towards the cost of all capital work funded by government funds. Please note that 50% of this contribution will be invoiced at the commencement of the project, with the balance being invoiced at project completion.
