Schools are required to provide the Diocese with notice of proposed works that will take place within the scope of the buildings and land.
This means works being carried out to internal and external walls, roofs, windows, doors, mains electrics, plumbing and drainage. Works affecting land including playgrounds and playing fields must also be notified.
Please provide details by completing and returning the Capital Project Information Form below.
Applications for Capital Allocation funding in 2025-26 are now open.
Due to continued funding constraints, priority will be given to condition related projects.
You should refer to your Asset Management Plan, your School Development Plan and the DfE (Good Estate Management for Schools Manual) to determine your priorities. Please also consider any recommendations arising from surveys that have been carried out and any recommendations from your Statutory Testing and Inspecting regimes.
To ensure your proposed project meets Building Regulations and Health and Safety requirements, as well as being accurately costed, we require you to engage the services of professional consultants.
Please note that if your funding bid is successful, 50% of your Governing Body contribution is payable prior to works commencing, with the remaining 50% due on project completion.
The deadline for completed bids is Friday 28th February 2025.
