Every academic year the Education Team offer a number of planned opportunities for our schools to gather together to celebrate belonging to the Church School Family.
The events include carefully facilitated opportunities for pupils and school staff. These range from the Year 6 Leavers Services in Chelmsford Cathedral to a quiet reflection day at Pleshey House of Retreat for our senior leaders. All the events are provided free of charge. They are inevitably very popular so please do book early to avoid disappointment.
25 April 2026 This one-day conference is an opportunity for anybody involved in the governance of a Church of England school to improve their understanding.
12 May 2026 Join us for a focused and inspiring day exploring inclusive ministry in our Church schools, centred on the diocesan theme All God’s Children. This conference will equip clergy and lay ministers with practical ideas, theological insight, and confidence to support SENDinclusive worship, pastoral care, and schoolchurch relationships.
8 June 2026 | 8 June 2026 | 9 June 2026 | 9 June 2026 On the 8th and the 9th of June 2026, we are hosting four services to bring pupils together as part of our family of Church schools and to celebrate their time at Primary school as they look forward to what comes next in their education journey.
