Working in Partnership with the Diocese of Chelmsford
The Chelmsford Diocesan Board of Education (CDBE) works in partnership with Multi Academy Trusts (MATs) serving Church of England schools across Essex and East London.
We are committed to promoting life in all its fullness through education and supporting the flourishing of Church schools through strong relationships, effective governance, Christian distinctiveness and sustainable leadership. The Diocese values collaboration and works closely with MAT leaders, trustees and local governors to secure the long-term future of Church of England education.
Whether a Trust already serves Church schools or is considering future growth, the Diocese provides guidance, challenge and support to help schools remain rooted in the Church of England Vision for Education while delivering high-quality outcomes for children and young people.
