We have created some downloadable tools to help you monitor and evaluate worship. These tools are designed to encourage responses from pupils and cover all of the current requirements of SIAMS.
We will ensure that these tools are kept up to date with any changes in the SIAMS framework.
Monitoring the impact of Collective worship on pupils’ lives is important in helping the school to reflect on its practice and continue to make improvements and developments so that Collective Worship is ensuring the spiritual flourishing of the pupils in our care.
These questions are designed to support you in designing your own monitoring focus. They should not all be used in their current format. These questions need to be expanded into age-appropriate language and would benefit from greater exploration following on from pupils’ responses.

Governors have a legal responsibility for ensuring that Collective Worship aligns with the Trust Deeds of the School, The Education Act and the expectations of the Church of England. Governors need to satisfy themselves that the provision of Collective Worship is ensuring that all pupils and adults flourish spiritually.
